The Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa – Tanzania Chapter (AHILA TZ) is an active association uniting health sciences librarians and health information professionals working in medical and health science libraries in Tanzania. The Association was registered in 2003 whose main objective is to promote relationship and networking among members. The Association counts almost 150 members from 26 regions in Tanzania. AHILA TZ supports professional development, improves cooperation and enables exchanges of experience amongst its members, through platforms including meetings, workshops and/or conferences, short courses, and through various groups on social media. The Journal platform is underway for creation.
